The Lions of Windsor ‘LIONS ROAR GOODBYE’ weekend

On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November 2019 the Lions of Windsor pride will be on display in Windsor Yards at the “Lions Roar Goodbye” allowing lion fans to say their farewells to the beautifully decorated lion and cub sculptures and choose which they may like to bid for at the charity auction.

This will be the first and last chance to see the pride in one place before they are auctioned on 28th November at the Lions of Windsor Charity Gala Auction to raise funds for charities, Thames Hospice, Look Good Feel Better, The Lions Club of Windsor and Tusk.
The eye-catching pride has been decorated in a wide range of styles, from fine art to mosaics, street art and illustrations to colourful abstract designs and has been admired by thousands of residents and visitors from around the world.

Lion artists include the iconic fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes; celebrated print designer Kaffe Fassett MBE; descendants of French impressionist Camille Pissarro, Lélia and Lyora Pissarro; sculptor Andrew Logan; designer Anna Kompaniets; former Head of Studio Lacroix, Craig Wheatley; Thai jeweller and member of the Thai Royal Family, M.L Rojanatorn Na Songkhla; designer & children’s author/illustrator Lisa Stickley; Liberty designer Sally Kelly; contemporary urban artist Mister Mistry and award winning Windsor residents Lisa Todd and her daughter Liv Clarke.
