Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service Webinar

Join the Lord Lieutenant of Kent, on 9 July for a webinar about the  prestigious Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service

Kent based voluntary groups are invited to a webinar hosted by Ashford Volunteer Centre and Kent Community Foundation where the Lord Lieutenant of Kent, The Lady Colgrain and her team will talk about the prestigious Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given by The Queen to outstanding groups of volunteers whose level of initiative and impact are truly exceptional. It is the MBE for volunteer groups and is awarded for life.  In June 2021 Ageless Thanet was amongst the voluntary groups to be recognised with the Queens Award for Voluntary Service.

The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service webinar will be held on 9 July at 1pm, and voluntary organisations will learn about the eligibility criteria, the nomination process and what makes an organisation successful in receiving the Award.
