Love and laughter filled the air at Edensor, a nursing and dementia care home in Clacton-on-Sea, as residents came together for a Valentine’s Day celebration.
The home was beautifully decorated with hearts and flowers, creating a warm and happy atmosphere. Residents enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea while being serenaded with classic love songs by Tessa, one of their favourite guest entertainers. Each resident received a special treat—a bag of chocolates—to mark the occasion.
Adding to the day’s festivities, everyone joined in to sing Happy Birthday to Charlie, a much-loved resident, as he celebrated his 83rd birthday.
Ewa Ruskowiak, Care Coordinator, Edensor Care Home said, “We all had a truly special afternoon filled with love, music, and companionship. Seeing our residents smile and enjoy the moment is what makes these events so meaningful.”
The Valentine’s celebration is one of many events at Edensor aimed at fostering joy, connection, and well-being among residents.
