Diagrama Foundation, a Kent based charity, is now successfully managing the Astley Day Centre as part of a new contract delivering day activities, both on site and in the community, for adults with complex learning disabilities.
The news that Diagrama are operating Bronley Council’s Learning Disabilities Complex Needs Day Service follows the Executive decision to award an initial five-year contract, with the opportunity to extend it for three further years, with an estimated value of £8 million over the life of the contract. The appointment builds on Diagrama’s strong track record in Bromley, where it has successfully delivered an award-winning Supported Living Service since April 2021.
Councillor Diane Smith, Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Health said, “We are pleased to be working with the Diagrama Foundation to help deliver these much-valued services. I know the team have been working hard to ensure that there is continuity of care and support as we seek to continue to deliver high-quality support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs.”

- Diagrama Community Services at Duckyls Farm is a day care provision for people with a learning disability, physical and sensory impairment, acquired brain injury and/or autism.
- The team at their nursing and dementia care home, Edensor Care Centre in Clacton on Sea, support vulnerable residents to live life to the full.
- Diagrama’s voluntary adoption agency and not-for-profit fostering service cares for children who wait the longest for homes in London, Kent, Sussex and Surrey.
Many vulnerable children and adults don’t get the support they need to develop their true potential, but the Diagrama team know that when someone has time and belief invested in them, they come alive, because that investment has made them feel valued and worthy.
