Experienced grant maker Kent Community Foundation has appointed Angela Davis as Head of Finance and Governance.
Davis joins Kent Community Foundation after a career in finance and business management. She has devoted the last twenty five years of her working life to the voluntary sector, where she has held strategic financial positions in health and social care charities.
Her experience includes roles with Marie Curie, Young Lives-vs-Cancer and Pancreatic Cancer UK. Having lived in Kent nearly all her life Angela was also delighted to work on the regeneration at Chatham Maritime Trust and Folkestone’s Creative Foundation.
The role with Kent Community Foundation will see Angela leading in all aspects of the charity’s financial management, together with supporting the Board and Chief Executive in ensuring the charity is governed and operated legally and effectively, and that all its policies and processes are fit for purpose.

Angela currently serves on the boards of two local charities and intermittently travels to Zimbabwe as part of a church mission team.
