An inspiring team of 11 people from Diagrama Foundation will be reaching for the skies this September as they take part in the Diagrama Charity Skydive 2026 to raise vital funds for vulnerable children and adults supported by the charity.
The fundraising skydive will take place on Friday 18 September at Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent, bringing together staff and people supported by Diagrama in a remarkable demonstration of courage, teamwork and determination.
The idea for the skydive came from Graham, a resident at Duckyls Farm Cottage, one of Diagrama Foundation’s residential services for adults with a learning disability. Wanting to give something back to the charity that has transformed his life, Graham suggested taking on the ultimate challenge to help improve the lives of others supported by Diagrama.
The team hopes to raise £25,000, with every pound helping to create life-enriching opportunities for the vulnerable children and adults supported by the Foundation across its fostering, adoption, residential care and supported living services.
Funds raised will support projects including:
- Creating accessible learning spaces.
- Providing sensory and wellbeing resources.
- Expanding enrichment activities.
- Increasing access to therapeutic support.
- Developing outdoor learning opportunities.
These initiatives will enable the people Diagrama supports to build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy experiences that enrich their lives.
Reece, who has been living at Duckyls Farm for nine months said: “I like that Duckyls Farm is quiet most of the time and it’s in the middle of nowhere. I like the countryside a lot more than living in a town or a city, although I do like visiting places like that sometimes. It’s a very nice environment, and the people here are very nice,
I know what I like, and I think skydiving would be pretty fun. I’ve never done it before, so I thought it would be an interesting thing to do, and I am a little bit of an adrenaline junkie, as it is. I quite like raising the blood pressure a little bit. I love going on roller coasters and looking at fast cars.”
Paul who has lived at Duckyls Farm for two years said: “This will be the first time I’ve ever done a skydive and I always wanted to do it. Its very exciting, because I’ve never done one before. I really enjoy helping with the animals and doing the gardening and living at Duckyls in the cottage. The reason why I’d like to do the skydive is so we can get more machinery on the farm and it would be nice if we could get more people on the farm too.”

About Diagrama Foundation
Diagrama Foundation is a Kent based charity that supports vulnerable children, young people and adults to live their best life.
Diagrama has a Supported Living Service across Bromley and Mid Sussex, three homes for adults with learning disabilities in Orpington, an eight-bed care home for adults with learning disabilities in West Sussex with a Community Services Programme a fifty-bed care home for the elderly with nursing and dementia needs in Essex, and a fostering and adoption service in the southeast.

- Diagrama Care Home at Duckyls Farm, is a residential care home in West Sussex on a 100-acre farm for residents with learning disabilities, which allows the charity to explore the physical, mental and social skills and benefits that working with animals and in nature can offer to people with a learning disability.
- Diagrama Community Services at Duckyls Farm is a day care provision for people with a learning disability, physical and sensory impairment, acquired brain injury and/or autism.
- The team at their nursing and dementia care home, Edensor Care Centre in Clacton on Sea, support vulnerable residents to live life to the full.
- Diagrama’s voluntary adoption agency and not-for-profit fostering service cares for children who wait the longest for homes in London, Kent, Sussex and Surrey.
Many vulnerable children and adults don’t get the support they need to develop their true potential, but the Diagrama team know that when someone has time and belief invested in them, they come alive, because that investment has made them feel valued and worthy.
