Dance Show Brings Joy to Bromley Resident

Gillian who loves dancing was delighted when she received an invitation to attend a local dance show.

Gillian, 67, who has learning disabilities is a much-loved  part of  Diagrama Foundation’s Supported Living Service in Bromley. Her greatest passion is dancing so she was absolutely delighted when local dance studio Shimmi Shake invited her to attend their annual show on Sunday 29 May.

The Show called ‘Together Again’ was held at the Langley Park Centre of Performing Arts and Gillian was taken to the Sunday afternoon performance by a Diagrama Support Worker.

Marina Rubio, Manager, Diagrama Supported Living Service said,  “We were delighted to take Gillian to the show but not as thrilled as she was. Gillian loves dancing and to be able to go and see the children performing in the ‘Together Again’ show was the perfect day out.”

Sue, owner of Shimmi Shake said, “It was a lovely to see  Gillian in the audience for our Dance Show. The joy on her face as she watched the performances was heart-warming. We have invited Gillian to attend one of our dance classes and we hope she can learn a few moves that she can perform for her friends when Diagrama has their next event.”
