Kent based The Indian Dish came home from the English Curry Awards 2022 with a win in the highly competitive Caterer of the Year category.
On Monday 22 August, the 2022 English Curry Awards, hosted by DJ Tommy Sandhu, welcomed 350 guests from the crème de la crème of restaurants and takeaways across England to the Holiday Inn Birmingham, to celebrate the best of the English curry Industry. Now in their 11th year, the English Curry Awards recognise the hard work, determination, impeccable service and efforts of England’s best curry establishments and professionals who create and serve delicious dishes.
Based in West Malling in Kent, The Indian Dish, which was established in 2020 was delighted to win the highly contested category of Caterer of the Year.
Julia Hussain, Director of The Indian Dish, said, “The Indian Dish team is honoured and thrilled to have been recognised as Caterer of the Year at the English Curry Awards on 22 August. We were in the company of the best that England has to offer and as a relative newcomer the win was a huge surprise. Our team should be very proud that the hard work, attention to detail and professionalism they deliver every time they prepare food using our much-loved and treasured recipes from my husband’s Mum has been rewarded.”
