Our foster child will have an amazing opportunity to receive expert coaching in a programme of core sports, whilst also trying her hand at a range of sports including rugby, hockey, tennis, football, rowing, kayaking, cricket, gymnastics, netball, athletics, archery, trampolining, judo and many more! She is so excited, as are my husband Chris and our children Lucy and Maddy who will also enjoy this experience.”
A Timpson Spokesperson said, “The Alex Timpson Trust was set up in memory of Alex Timpson, John Timpson’s late wife. Alex and John were passionate foster carers, and they founded the charity to continue to support looked after children. The aims of the Trust are to provide free holidays for foster families, free books about caring for looked after children, and funding for projects and charities supporting the well-being of disadvantaged children.”
